Overview

The faith of the Kindled splits its pantheon into Dawn Gods and Dusk Gods. The Dawn Gods wanted the best for sentient life and the Dusk Gods viewed it as a first step. The latter sought to create more powerful forms of life. To sentient peoples, these creatures are monsters.

The Pantheon has a dualist structure. Each Dawn God has a mirror in a Dusk God. They are codified as siblings and eternally war against each other for control of one of the fundamental powers.

Before the world, before the gods, there were the fundamental powers. Amoral and infinite, they clashed and struck one another until there was light, then life, then thought. All things are born of them, and through them, all things are possible.
